Who doesn’t love a fresh, homemade pizza at home? It took a few tries, but with a lot of patience and certainly many taste tests, came a perfected pizza dough for homemade pizza nights!
Ingredients:
- 14oz room temperature water
- 1tsp active dry yeast
- 23oz bread flour
- 2.5tbsp olive oil
- 2tsp salt
- 2tsp honey
Directions:
- In a stand mixer, add room temperature water.
- Add olive oil and yeast to the water. Mix in a few scoops of flour and then add your honey.
- Add the remaining flour, once it is mostly incorporated, add in your salt.
- Place into an airtight container with enough room for the dough to double in size. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for a minimum of 12hours and a maximum of 36hours.
- After the bulk of the fermentation, take the dough out of the fridge and cut into four equal balls. Place back into an airtight container into the fridge.
- Take the dough balls out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking.
- We enjoy using our ooni pizza oven to get the perfect crisp!
